Вітаю! Мене звуть Андрій Маслюх, я перекладач зі Львова. Якщо хтось хоче дізнатися про мене більше – заходьте сюди. Цей сайт я створив насамперед для того, щоб мати де розповідати про свої переклади, виставляти цікаві уривки з перекладених творів та публікувати всяку всячину (переважно пов’язану з перекладом, але не тільки) у блозі “Драгоманія” (для найприскіпливіших одразу зазначаю, що не маю жодного стосунку ні до східних країн, ні до європейських консулятів у тих країнах :-)). Отже, кому цікаво – запрошую прогулятися сторінками сайту та зазирнути у блоґ. Чуйтеся як удома!
Попри “довічну” проблему зі здоров’ям (наслідки ДЦП), майже ніколи не сумую і вмію тішитися життям. Переважно тихо-мирно, наче той Толкінів гобіт, сиджу собі за комп’ютером, пообкладавшись книгами та поринувши у черговий переклад, але часом, коли надто вже засиджуся, можу зненацька встругнути якусь авантюру й опинитися, приміром, у човні в гирлі Дунаю або на найвищій дзвіниці Чернігова. По вуха закоханий у свій рідний Леополіс – місто, яким можу блукати безконечно, щоразу відкриваючи для себе щось нове та прислухаючись до таємничої і химерної мови старих каменів… можливо, колись спробую перекласти щось і з неї :-) Полюбляю посидіти з дружиною та друзями у неповторних львівських кнайпах, попиваючи чорну каву та балакаючи про життя-буття, а іноді просто засісти на самоті в затишному куточку з цікавою книжкою. Словом, без Львова себе не уявляю, і хоч страшенно люблю мандрувати, та саме поверненню до Львова завжди тішуся чи не найбільше – адже це місто, куди так добре повертатися…

In spite of the “eternal” health problem (infantile cerebral paralysis consequences) I’m never sad and know how to enjoy life. As a rule, I stay quietly and peacefully like a Tolkien’s hobbit at my computer, surrounded by heaps of books and absorbed in work, but if it lasts too long I can all of a sudden plunge into adventure and find myself, for example, in a boat floating in the Danube estuary or on the top of the highest belfry in Chernihiv. I’m head over heels in love with Lviv; along the streets of this city I can roam endlessly now and then discovering something new and listening to the strange and mysterious language of old stones… perhaps one day I’ll try to translate something from it too :-) I like to drop with my wife and friends into inimitable Lviv coffee houses and pubs to drink some black coffee talking about life or sometimes just to sit alone in a cosy corner reading an interesting book. In a word, I can’t imagine myself apart from Lviv and though I like to travel awfully it is coming back to Lviv that I enjoy most of all since this is the city where it is so fine to come back to…
